The relation or constraint attribute @ERROR  is used in an expression to present an error message if an evaluation error occurrs.

Syntax

Place @ERROR :Expression in the data slot of the relation or constraint

Arguments

  • Expression is a logical expression to get an error message in the event that an evaluation error occurs in the current Relation. If, for example, a parameter is selected from a Telitab set which appears not to be present in the set, an error file can be read and the contents will then be presented in the PENDING parameter which should have been calculated by this relation. The result of the error expression is presented only in the workbase.

Remarks

Also look at the ERROR$() function and the @ONNOVALUE attribute for error trapping.
