The
value or string parameter attribute
@NOBRANCHVAL is used to block access to input values available in earlier instances of the same object or entity.
Syntax
Place
@NOBRANCHVAL in the data slot of the parameter
- The @NOBRANCHVAL attribute makes it impossible to read input values for this parameter being available in earlier instances of the same object, thus allowing its value to be calculated.
- If the @NOBRANCHVAL is not present in a parameter, Quaestor will look in earlier instances of the current object and propose the value found in there. In that case, it is not possible to empty the value cell, if you want it to be calculated.
- With @NOBRANCHVAL , input is asked, but if not provided, the system will attempt to calculate its value rather than inherit it from earlier object instances.
