Location

The file for the profile options can be found at:

• windows 7, 8: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\MARIN\Quaestor3\Configs\Windows (the <username> must be replaced with your Windows log-in username)

Editing

To create the file for the profile GUI follow the next steps:

• Open in Quaestor the desired application
• Go to Tools / Options... and make sure that the correct profile for this application is selected
• Open, move, close all the frames (e.g. Workbase, Knowledge browser) and toolbars to obtain the desired GUI
• Go to Tools / Options... (the correct profile should be selected) and press OK
• The file can be found in the profiles folder (see above)

Remarks

The functionality of this file is completed by the QAppGuiSettings file. Certain GUI settings cannot be obtain only by one of these files alone.
