If you did not receive an activationID together with your product, you need to request a certificate-based license. To use certificate-based licensing only a license file is needed. License files can be used to hold nodelocked or floating licenses. This license is fixed to a specific hardware ID of your PC or server. To provide this hardware ID you need to execute the following command in a DOS window:
ipconfig/all > hostid.txt
Return the hostid.txt together with your request to: support@marin.nl
Node locked licenses
After receiving this node locked license file from Marin save it at the same location as all executables or DLLs from the product. Most likely this will be the installation directory of the product. If you decide to put the node locked license file in a different location keep in mind the sequence for finding a license file.
After saving the license file into the installation directory of the product no further action is needed. The Marin product should be able to find the license once the product is started.
