LTRIM$ returns a string value without leading spaces (and CrLf's)
Syntax
LTRIM$(StrExpr, [Mode%=0,1])
Arguments
- StrExpr is a string expression
- Mode% determines the output of the expression:
- Mode%=0 or omitted: LTRIM$ returns a string value without leading spaces.
- Mode%=1: LTRIM$ returns a string value without leading spaces and CrLf's. (Carriage return Line feeds)
- String Expression returns a string value containing N characters, where N=>0. "NullString" is considered as a DETERMINED empty string.
Examples
Example1: Mode 0
LTRIM$("
Qnowledge Wageningen ", 0)
Returns
"
Qnowledge Wageningen"
Example 2: Mode 1
LTRIM$("
Qnowledge Wageningen ", 1)
returns
"Qnowledge Wageningen"
