In Quaestor quotes (") are used to define strings. Thus:
A$="A string"
means that A$ has the value A string
When you try to add a word between quotes in such a string you have a problem because Quaestor recognises it as beginning and end of a string value. By using MARK$ you can add something with quotes inside the string:
A$="A " + MARK$("word") + " between quotes in a string"
Results in A "word" between quotes in a string
ADDRESS$ = "Qnowledge " + MARK$("Haagsteeg 2") + " Wageningen"
Returns
Qnowledge "Haagsteeg 2" Wageningen
