Choose File>Load and select a file containing RAO data (h5m, raodb.ini, fdb.ini,...).
You can also drop a file on the left panel of RAOViewer
Every file can be reloaded to update the data in RAOViewer. RAOviewer is reading the data on the drive at the moment
of the loading, such that if the file is modified afterwards, this is not showed in RAOViewer unless the file is
reloaded.
File>Reload (F5)
Once a file has been loaded, it appears in the left panel of RAOViewer. If selected, the channels in that file are
presented in the right panel. If multiple files are selected, only the comparable channels are shown. By hovering the
mouse over the file, a popup shows the location of the file on the drive and the time of the import in RAOViewer.
More info about the content of the file can be showed by pressing F2, F3, F4 or F6 which correspond to:
- Edit>General (F2) : general info about the data
- Edit>Conditions (F3) : conditions at which the data was generated (depth, speed, heading,...)
- Edit>Constants (F4) : some constants used during the calculation (if found in file)
- Edit>Metadata (F6) : all the metadata that was found in the header of the file (Particulars, method,...)
