It is possible to compute signals using the Add Signal
menu availble through a right-click on a given database.
The new signal is based on linear calculations. Several signals can be obtained by selecting several directions and types. The position of the new signals must be in the same referential as the database, typically aft centre keel. A signal can only be computed if the rigid-body motions at a reference point are found. These will appear on the right side of the menu. The user can select these motions if they are not found automatically.
There is no relative motion option as these can be tool dependent as they may include diffraction and radiation, which is then beyond the scope of RAOViewer.
By default, the longitudinal and transversal accelerations do not include the gravity times angle effects. Use the Add gravity
option if necessary.
