To use certificate-based floating licenses a license manager is required. This license manager comes in two parts; the FLEXnet publisher license manager and the specific MARIN license managerlicense server and the MARIN license daemon. The MARIN license manager daemon requires the FLEXnet publisher license manager server 11.9 or higher. If a FLEXnet server already exists and is operational, only the installation of the MARIN License Manager is needed.
