Thank you for purchasing this MARIN software product. Getting started provides help in getting your MARIN product installed and activated. 

Before starting the installation make sure your computer meets the system requirements. 

Three steps to To install and activate your MARIN software product:

  1. Install the product that you bought on your PC(s) with the setup.exe on the product DVD. If 'autorun' is enabled on your PC, the installation should start automatically when you insert the DVD.
  2. Install the MARIN Product Activation tool on your PC(s) with the setup.exe. This product is located on the DVD labelled "MARIN Product Activation Resources", in the folder MARIN Product Activation.
  3. Before you can use the MARIN software product, you need to activate it. You need an activation ID or license fileActivate your product using the Product Activation Tool and the Activation ID that you received with your product. Please read and follow the next steps carefully to successful install and activate your MARIN software product.

Make sure you know what type of license you have purchased with your product. MARIN supports two kinds of licenses:

  • Node-locked license:  "Node lock" is a Single Use license model. The license is tied (activated & authorized) for use on just one computer--one specific node.
  • Floating license: A "concurrent use", also know as a "floating" license--where the software product can be used from any computer with network connection to a license server. Or said another way, you can install the software on multiple computers--but could only use the one license on one computer at a time.
