The string relation or constraint attribute @RUNEXCELMACRO is used in the EXCEL#() function to execute a macro in the Excel sheet template immediately upon opening the Excel sheet.

Syntax

Place @RUNEXCELMACRO:MacroName in the data slot of the relation or constraint

Arguments

  • MacroName is the name of the VBA macro in the Excel sheet

Remarks

Quaestor does not have knowledge about the content of the VBA macro. This functionality inside the VBA macro remains the responsibility of the Knowledge Engineer.
